Richard Edwardes 1523-1566
Richard Edwardes was master of the children of the Chapel Royal. He was the compiler of The Paradyse of Daynty Devises, a collection of minor early 16th century poets. Little of his own work survives, a play entitled Excellent Comedie of Damon and Pithias, and a few poems.
